We welcome all GP applications to join our highly successful and motivated team.

We have an excellent reputation for the quality of our service. In addition we have a highly acclaimed training programme with Mersey Deanery to train new GPs in core competencies for urgent care conditions. Many of these GPs go on to work for the service.

We are committed to providing our clinicians with a safe and effective working environment so they can focus solely on delivering care to patients.

If you are successful in your application you will be required to sign a Service Level Agreement with us on commencement of service.

All GPs are provided with a comprehensive induction that covers all of our clinical guidelines, this is provided at our headquarters in Wavertree. 

We provide ongoing clinical education, and undertake quarterly audits of all clinical activity using the Royal College of General Practioner’s Out Of Hours Toolkit. These activities are led by our Medical Director.

Pay rates for clinical sessions are extremely competetive, and any monies you earn will be NHS pensionable.
