About Urgent Care 24
Urgent Care 24 has been providing out of hours services for patients since November 2004. We are commissioned by Liverpool and Knowsley PCTs.
We constantly monitor our service by a variety of measures – patient satisfaction surveys, performance against the Department of Health’s National Quality Requirements and an ongoing dialogue with the service’s commissioners, the local health care community and most importantly patients themselves.
Our service is also externally validated by organisations such as the Primary Care Foundation and the Medical Protection Society.
This dialogue allows us to constantly learn about the service we provide, and to pro-actively use that information to improve our care to patients.
We are a social enterprise company, and as such we are not for dividend and any financial surplus we make is re-invested into providing our service.
